Ageless beauty skin care

Our skin is an important tissue in our body. The skin is a reflection of what we put and do to our body. In this article you will learn different approach to achieve that glowing skin you have been dreaming of. Now let’s go on depth on skin care for achieving ageless beauty.

Understanding skin textures

Every individual has its own unique skin textures and there are different factors that affects it. These are as follows: genes, lifestyle, pollution, work, air, sun, stress and so on.

How we care for it depends on our skin type and so we must understand that skin can be normal, dry, oily or combination. A well-balanced skin can be described as normal type, lesser sebum skin production can cause a dry skin whilst the opposite makes it oily. It is also possible to have both or combination skin.

Normal skin type may have no or fewer flaws, pores are smaller or barely visible, and has a fine or smooth texture.

Dry skin is less elastic and pores are almost invisible. Texture is dull and rough.

Oily skin looks shiny and with a thick texture, big and visible pores.

Combination skin usually have an oily t-zone (forehead, nose and chin) and dry or normal on some areas of the face.

Skin care for your skin type

There are loads of skin care that we can apply to have a youthful glowing skin. If we understand and know our skin type then the better approach we would do for a better result. It is easier for those people who have normal skin types to maintain and achieve a beautiful skin. Routines can be a simple facial wash using non irritating products, gentle facial wash, toners and the like. Pat dry! What ever skin types you have avoid rubbing when bathing and drying. Gentle pat dry always works. Remember our skin can be as sensitive as they can be.

Since dry skin lacks sebum it is important to take short showers and baths. As it was mentioned earlier that dry skin lacks sebum avoid scrubbing or just do it once a week on the face. Use mild and gentle soaps and facial wash. You might as well consider reading your skin care product ingredients before buying. Include in your skin care routines the daily application of moisturizers. Moisturizers helps the skin from drying and re hydrates the skin for a healthy softer look. Note that there are different kinds of moisturizers for different body parts. Example lotion for the body, facial moisturizers and eye-creams for delicate and more sensitive skin around the eyes.

Oily skin is more prone to acne and breakouts thus skin care regimen is longer in this skin type. Wash the skin with mild and gentle soaps or facial wash. Use alcohol free toners and it is good also to exfoliate once in a while. Do not over do scrubbing as this can irritate the skin and the result would be more skin breakouts. Gently rubbing an ice cube or simply splashing cold water on your face helps to close the pores. When having pimples don’t try to pop and squeeze as this can result to scarring and in severe cases in can lead to infection. And of course don’t forget to use light moisturizers.

Depending on how dry the dry areas and how oily the oily areas are it is important that there’s no one size fits all. Understand your skin type and know where to layer the products you are using. Use a light moisturizer on the oily areas as much as possible. Just what I emphasized on the above skin care regimen, always use mild and gentle soaps and or facial wash. And as I have said, do not rub when drying, it is best to pat dry your skin.

Choosing the right products

There are tons of mattyfying, purifying, and moisturizer products that you can find on the shelf! Your skin care regimen for a youthful glowing skin depends on your skin type.

When confused on what to buy because we are bombarded with thousands of new products and advertisements always read the labels! Check for any harmful and strong ingredients that may have a potential negative effect on your skin. Know that our skin is sensitive thus we must have a gentle approach on it. Buy alcohol-free toners, water-based cleansers, mild soaps and facial wash. Oil-free products for those who have oily skin.

Skin care regimen – Improving your skin conditions

Achieving ageless beauty might sound impossible and far from reality but it can be done! Religiously follow the old commandments of skin care for a beautiful youthful look. That is cleanse, moisturize, protect and treat. Put in mind that achieving a beautiful skin is not simply putting the products on your face. Remember that skin is both simple and complicated. It takes both lifestyle and skin care regimen to have the skin you want. REHYDRATION is a big factor as well. Drink plenty of water, 8-10 glasses of water a day. The point is to re-hydrate!

Ageless beauty

Now that you probably know and have a full understanding about your skin then it is easier to find the best approach and product to use. Remember the old commandment of skin-care and do it sincerely. Clean your skin with mild soap and or facial wash, moisturize (according to body parts as the surrounding of the eyes is more sensitive), protect your skin from the sun, always use sunblock to prevent premature aging and fine lines and lastly treat. If you have pimples then treat it properly, don’t prick!. Toners and other skin care products is an additional option that you may or may not add on your skin care routines.

Last but not the least is to consider your lifestyle, your diet, stress and your environment. As this can lead to unhealthy looking skin and early aging. We don’t want those premature wrinkles and lines on our skin, so you might as well consider practicing healthy lifestyle, exercise and healthy food must be on your Must-do-list. Have enough sleep. Whatever we do to our body, whatever food we put on our stomach radiates through our skin. Practice good habits and it will pay off! Good luck on achieving that beautiful glowing and youthful skin.

As I read your article, I’ve realized that my skin has definitely changed over the years. The products that I use are geared to oily skin and now I think I just have an oily T-zone.
