The best facial cleansing brush

The Best anti aging skin care device review

Product: Facial brush and massage

Description: Electronic skin care device for the face.

Where to buy: www.Amazon.com

The are lots of facial cleansing and massage device in the market and it has been and still a hot selling product in the internet and in physical stores. This simple yet powerful tool is a must have in your skin care routine. The ultrasonic vibration helps to deep cleanse the skin. It rejuvenates the skin for a healthy young looking you. In this review I will be looking on two facial brush and massage products. One is the silicone facial brush and massage, and the other one is the plastic battery operated with different detachable heads.

Benefits of facial massage

It is no doubt that facial massage aids in a better blood circulation in the skin. It relaxes stressed facial muscles thus leaving the skin with a softer and healthier texture. In the long run, facial massage is very effective in preventing premature fine lines and reducing wrinkles. It resolves sagging and puffiness and helps to eliminate eye bags. So add facial massage in your  anti aging skin care routine. Facial massage is as important as your facial creams. Yes it does! For as long as it is done properly then it is very beneficial.

Silicone Type

The silicone type facial cleansing and massage looks very sleek and more modern. This type comes in various shapes and colors.

Pros

  • Waterproof. It is an electronic rechargeable device but it is designed to withstand water.
  • Portable and lightweight. Very sleek design that is handy. You can take it with you anywhere, it fits in your purse!
  • Dual purpose device. One side is designed for cleaning and the other side is for massaging. No additional heads so you skip the hassle of removing heads and changing with another. This one handheld device works it all for your skin.
  • Affordable. It won’t break the bank to have that healthy flawless skin you’ve been dreaming of. It is very affordable.

Cons

  • Can cause dryness. When use improperly then it can cause skin dryness and irritation.
  • Skin breakouts. This is related to over exfoliating. It is recommended to use the device 2-3 times a week.
  • Two sided silicone brush with different bristles. This type doesn’t come with other heads like the file or stone head, the rounded head massage and the typical brush bristles.

The plastic long handle facial brush

This plastic long handle facial brush has come a long way, it has been modified to fit the current market. Just like the silicone, this one too is waterproof (but not all I’ve seen some brands that is not). So choose and read the labels before you buy.

Pros

  • Various detachable heads. This might be both an advantage or disadvantage. Depending on your needs and wants. Some may find it an advantage because it comes with different heads with different uses. Other may find it as disadvantage because you need to change every time the head that you want to use. It’s a bit of hassle for some users.
  • Waterproof. The upgraded type that I saw in the market is waterproof. But still there are few which is not so read the label before buying.
  • All in 1. It’s like having your own face spa at home. The massage, the file, the brush, the foam, you have it all.

Cons

  • Detachable heads. Just like what I have mentioned earlier this can be a hassle for some users.
  • Not so handy. I said not so handy because when traveling then you need to take the set as a whole, it is bigger than the silicone. You need a bigger space on your toiletry bag with this type of facial brush.
  • Packing. I saw many of this in a throw away plastic container, some on boxes and some on not so durable plastic containers. So you need to have a pouch or container ready for it. I don’t generalized though because some comes with a beautiful sealable plastic containers.

My personal verdict

Weighing both the pros and cons of these two facial products then you cannot go wrong. But for me I personally prefer the silicone facial cleanser and massage. It is handy and doesn’t need much space in my personal pouch. I have both a massage and a cleanser in one brush and that is what all I need basically.

I personally ordered and tested these products before I would recommend it to my readers. Voila! I am happy and satisfied! Just after two weeks of using it I felt my skin is smoother and healthier. So I added this innovative device in my favorite anti aging skin care routine. It is an effective home skin care for a flawless and instant glowing skin.

As for me I use the facial cleansing side with my favorite facial wash. I pat dry my face then I use the massage side together with my favorite facial essential oil or my best anti aging moisturizer cream for a better skin absorption for a better result. You can do the same with your best skin care regimen too.

Tips: Use the device properly and do not over do facial cleansing and massage. Read and follow the instruction in the manual.

Happy facial cleansing day!

  3. Outstanding! Love your insight and the practical decision you come to with your recommendation. I’m not much for doing what’s best for the manufacturer, seems like the tail wagging the dog. But you present information that is valid to me, and come to a common sense conclusion…..that matters to me. Thank you.

I’m doing something different for her this year, I just want to put a whole bunch of stuff in a basket and this seems like a product she will absolutely love. She doesn’t have a facial cleansing brush yet. I like that the silicone brush is waterproof and dual-purpose! Amazing.

  7. Hello Gillian,
Thanks for this article. Funny enough, I was checking around for a skin slougher. I use a loofah – you know, the one from the plant? I am an island woman and tend towards using natural products for my inner and outer health. The silicone one sounds interesting. I think a cleanser and massager in one sounds good to me. Thanks for sharing.
